Hair Love

Im off to an event next weekend and am looking for a hairslytle to go with a very simple shift dress that I am wearing.  I love the these three images above, my favourite being number 1.  Would love to hear your opinion on which I should choose.

  1. If the dress is very simple then I think number 2. Number 1 could look a bit severe with a plain dress.

  2. Of the three, stick with number one, Maiden - the other two look very 80's - a cross between 'Dallas' and 'Stepford Wives', with a little 'Barbie' thrown in too.

  3. Sue, Tom- I also agree it should be 1 or 2. Number 3 looks a bit 'big'...

  4. My 2 cents worth......The word "shift dress" is a loaded statement. It could go from a little black dress for evening, or something common to dust the house in. I think it depends on the cut of the neck, and time of day.

No.1. has a square cut neck which leads me to believe that the dress she is wearing is 'empire' which would fit with the hair perfectly.

When in doubt, wear the hair off the face and adjust makeup according to type of event.

  5. Yes, NOT No 3. In the sudden gust of wind that destroyed No 3, No 1 could be dealt with simply by use of a comb. No 2 is a bit Bimbo-ish. No 1 the most natural. Go for Number ONE.
