The Corset

The corset is one item of women's wear I have never quite made my mind up about. On the right body shape and with the correct styling, the corset can enhance, flatter and sculpt. On the other hand for the most part they tend to look painful and slightly trashy. Gaultier and D&G have embraced the corset look and have managed to successfully translate the style in to modern day fashion, however I still cant help looking at the image of the lovely Dita Von Teese (above) without feeling like the wind has been knocked out of me.
