London Calling

At this time of the year after the excitement of the festive period has worn off I find myself yearning for the cold, dark winter of Europe and in particular Britain. After living in London for a few years and marrying an Englishman Im a a true anglophile and feel very much at home in the UK. I love the British sense of humour, the fashion, the music, the media and of course, the proximity to Europe is an added bonus. We are busy planning a trip 'home' later this year but in the meantime I will have to make do with these lovely black and white London images.

  1. I hear you Mia - I am craving all that gorgeous snow they are getting too at the moment. Especially in this heat. K x

  2. Oh I do too, my dad is British, so we spent some years over there. The British make the best comedy films/sitcoms.

These pictures are great, fashion across the years.

  3. Yes you are correct the Brits humour is unique and the music and fashion make Australia feel like its always trying to catch up with Europe. Their tv show are leap years ahead. Anyone that has never gone to London should go, its one cool city just a little bit bigger and a little bit more funkier than the Gold Coast, hoho!

  4. Oh, I totally agree. I´ve lived in London for seven years and I adore it.
The last London pic in your post is absolutely gorgeous!
