Best of the Decade- Kate from the Enchanted Closet

Image 1: Carrie Bradshaw (2000) Sex in the City For me Carrie is the ultimate noughties fashionista, willing to take chances, can mix vintage with high end designer and always a trend maker, never a follower. This pic is from season 4 when she first meets Aiden. Classic Carrie - the hair, the corsage and vintage Dior Saddle bag - perfection!

Image 2: Carrie Bradshaw (2008) Sex in the City - The Movie The highly anticipated movie saw some of the best fashion of the decade. Mixing soft florals with edgy accessories, she single handedly made wearing gladiators uber cool and sent sales of the Dior Extreme Gladiator Platforms through the roof.

Image 3: Kate Hudson from the movie How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003) My favourite movie moment of the decade. This dress was jaw droppingly beautiful and turned Kate Hudson from a starlet into a movie star. Notable movie mentions for the decade also include Kiera Knightly's green dress in Atonement and most of Anne Hathaway's outfits (post makeover) in The Devil Wears Prada.

Image 4: Michelle Williams - Oscars 2006 in Vera Wang This outfit for me cemented Michelle Williams as one to be watched. I loved the vintage feel of the dress, and the yellow teamed with the red lipstick. I still love her fashion choices, even when she's dressing casually out and about in New York.

Image 5: Cameron Diaz (2007) Costume Institute Gala Cameron Diaz has always taken some fashion risks, some good and some bad and she's pretty adventurous when it comes to colour. I love the magenta dress teamed with the turquoise jewellery. My favourite use of accessories for the decade!

Image 6: Nicole Ritchie 2007-2009 Leaving the best till last. Nicole is my fashionista of the decade. I found it hard to pick a favourite moment, as pretty much everything she has worn over the last three years I have loved. She's another one who can mix vintage with high end and accessorise like a dream. I love Nicole!

I mentioned that I would be featuring some of my favourite blogger's Best of the Decade fashion pics, our first guest is Kate from the Enchanted Closet http://www.enchantedclosetwoodend.blogspot.com/ I love her choices! Thanks Kate!

The Wool Dress

How fabulous is this hand knitted 100% certified organic wool dress by talented designer Jemma Sykes. This amazing dress was created for ethical fashion label Butcher Couture and was eventually auctioned off at a breast cancer charity event.

Sunday in the Park

I spent the day today at a picnic in the park with my oldest and dearest girlfriends. We all lead busy lives now but every year we manage to organise a catch up before Christmas. It was a beautiful day and a great way to spend a relaxing Sunday before a busy week ahead. I hope you all had a lovely Sunday too!

Best of the Decade

Over the next couple of weeks I will be asking some of my favourite bloggers to share their best looks of the decade. Post-split Reese Witherspoon in Nina Ricci at the 2007 Golden Globes was one of my favourites. Kate from the Enchanted Closet http://www.enchantedclosetwoodend.blogspot.com/ will be my first guest and will be sharing her favourite looks with us this week.
