Drinks tonight are something quick, effective and to the point- a tequila shot is the perfect Friday quick pick me up. I love the bright yellow of this cute dress and a Mexican sunset on the beach would be a great place to enjoy. Happy Friday!

The Country Lane

I snapped this shot of the lane that runs down the side of our property this morning, I love the colour of the leaves this time of year.  Happy Mother's day to all of the mothers out there!

To Market

I spent a very pleasant couple of hours this morning wandering around the local farmer's market. Tonight's dinner will certainly feature some of the lovely local autumn produce I picked up.

Friday Night Drinks

Im a big fan of everything Japanese so I was excited to get an invite from a girlfriend tonight to meet up at a new Japanese bar in the city.  Warm sake, hot wasabi and cold sushi make a excellent combination and while it is unlikely that I will be wearing fans out in my hair tonight I do love the styling in this image by Galliano. Zebra

We received a beautiful black and white zebra print scarf in the boutiques this week and while I am not usually a huge animal print fan this image reminds me of how fabulous an impact black and white stripes can make.  I think I will need to grab one of the scarves to wear as a statement piece with classic, tailored basics.

Monday Morning

As we approcah winter and the days get shorter and colder I am finding it increasingly difficult to drag myself out of bed. This morning was particularly bad, when the alarm sounded at 6:25am I could have sworn it was still the middle of the night, after repeatedly pressing snooze for 'just 1 more minute' I then had a mad rush to get showered, dressed and out the door in under 20 minutes. Wherever you are I hope your Monday morning was more organised than mine!
